A slightly "toned down" Weber County Republican Lincoln Day Event

A few words for warhorse Republicans from Weber County, for whom we are pleased to announce our upcoming annual Lincoln Day Fund-raising event.

Unlike past years however, our County GOP Executive Committee, which is fully attuned to the current meager economic times, has decided to stage an event that will save our County GOP Party thousands of dollars this year. Consequently there will be no Lincoln Day Dinner this year. Instead of spending thousands of dollars in "overhead" on a "Big Fancy Dinner" this year, our conservative and financially prudent Weber County Executive Committee has set up an alternate-style event. Even though the Weber County Republican Party won't be serving up an expensive "rubber chicken dinner" this year, we urge all Weber County Republicans to put his year's slightly toned-down shindig on their calenders.

Where: Ogden Eccles Conference Center and Peery’s Egyptian Theater
When: 2/16/10 - 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

As always, we predict it'll be lots of fun.

(And word has it that even though we won't be served dinner, the pre-event Hors d’oeuvres will be really great, too!)
